These are original Bormioli Fido Replacement Bale Wires. They fit jars 500ml to 5L.
Includes upper wire, lower wire, and D-ring.
Usually they fit snugly and perfectly right out of the package, but from time to time require a bit of tweaking at the hinge to achieve a perfect fit.
These bale wire replacements DO NOT FIT LeParfait Jars, nor any other brand. Please ensure that your Jar is Bormioli Fido brand with "Fido" stamped in the lid before purchase.
The parts for each package are counted twice, and we do not accept returns on this product due to our return policy being abused, with partial packages returned missing the D rings. We have reinspected to ensure that the package is complete with 6 upper wires, 6 lower wires, and 6 D rings.

new bales for my old jars
I purchased a package of new bales for my old jars whose bales had rusted. These bales fit most of my old jars perfectly. A little simple adjustment with a pair of pliers was enough to fit the new bales to the few old and odd sized jars I use. ALL of my old bale jars are now back in use.

Easy and economical
That little piece from my Fido lid wire fell down the garbage disposal and got damaged before I could retrieve it. I found a replacement for the lid parts here and it was fast and cheaper than replacing the whole jar. I will definitely l use this company again!

Perfect Fit
I found some Fido jars at Goodwill a month ago, but the clamps were rusted and the gaskets were worn out. I thought it was an easy cleanup, but unfortunately, I could not get the clamps clean enough and the gaskets were unusable and unsanitary if I wanted to use them to store food. I wanted brand new replacements, so I did an online search and discovered that Probiotic Jar sold both gaskets AND clamps, whereas, Amazon only sold gaskets at the time. I placed the order and received it a few days later. The clamps and gaskets fit my glass jars perfectly, it’s as if I bought the whole set brand new from the store. I would definitely order this item again when I find more jars at the thrift store and need more replacements.
